17S Gabrielle

Everyone's eyes are on the coming weekend. The GFS is showing a good amount of moisture surging up into Kansas and some dynamic forces moving in. These early-season systems are very tempting and I am certainly tempted. If this all happens, we may see a cancellation of the Convergence! meeting on Saturday. I'll keep everyone updated on that.

Otherwise, we have one tropical cyclone to talk about:

Active Tropical Weather
Indian Ocean

17S Gabrielle
- Not any threat to land at the moment, this cyclone is moving into much drier air. We probably won't see much of any intensification with it.

That's pretty much it today. Enjoy the week!

Dann.
Currently at Denver (Hampden Heights), Colorado: 69ºF Partly cloudy with high clouds. Calm.
