"Always Chasing" describes my desire to never stop pursuing my goals and dreams (pardon the cliché). There are always storms to chase and trails to explore. This blog is a repository of those adventures... pursuing severe/adverse weather, visiting new places and exploring the natural topography of my surroundings. It is an outlet for my amateur pursuit of photography with my point-and-shoot camera as well as a forum for discussing meteorological events. The name "Big Sky Convection" will remain, but I feel that "Always Chasing" more accurately describes my direction.
That is definitely a beautiful structure. Haven't had much activity here in south west Wyoming. I'm hoping for more promising thunderstorm activity later this week.
Have the moisture (surprisingly) ... need the shear. :)
Wow I didn't notice the Denver skyline at first! It is flat as hell out there, I'm jealous.
Yeah, Michael ... it's not too bad. Once you get away from the river valleys, it's nice!
Man that's a great shot! I definitely needed Sunday to get my blood going again. Great job this week by the way. I'm looking forward to this coming week which appears to hold some good days for us all. I'm liking the outlook for Sunday so far...
Thanks Scott! It was a great weekend of non-SPC chasing. ;) I too look forward to this coming weekend, but moreso Saturday and Monday.
That is a beaut Dann!
Looks like it is walking across the landscape.
Can you send some of those up this way please?
Pat! I wish I could send something up your way!
