Category 2 Hurricane Ida Loose In The Gulf Of Mexico

Watches have been posted on the Gulf Coast now with models honing in on a track, bringing Ida onshore between Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle. I don't expect much more intensification out of her as the water temps are decreasing, but the shear isn't such that it will rip her apart. At this point, I agree (finally) on the official forecast track and intensity.
